ProbaBaby was born from a simple question: What if we could combine real genetic science with AI to create meaningful, scientifically-grounded baby predictions?
Most baby prediction apps simply blend parent photos together. We wanted something different - an app that actually understands how genetic inheritance works, from dominant and recessive genes to multi-generational trait patterns.
After months of research into Mendelian genetics, polygenic inheritance, and AI visualization, ProbaBaby was created. It's the first app to calculate genetic probabilities using real scientific models before generating visualizations.

A Note from the Developer
ProbaBaby is a solo project — built alongside a full-time job, other projects, and a startup. I've poured over six months of evenings and weekends into it, and every feature reflects that personal dedication.
As a future parent myself, I quickly realized that the financial pressures of parenthood are something nearly every family faces. That's why I made the decision early on to keep most of ProbaBaby completely free. What started as a genetics-based baby prediction app grew into something much bigger — a comprehensive toolkit designed to genuinely support parents at every stage.
When coverage first reached 87 countries, I thought that was enough. But then I asked myself: why not every single one? Why should parents in one part of the world have access to emergency numbers, vaccination schedules, and healthcare resources while others don't? So I set out to cover every country — working with multiple AI agents and data tools to compile and verify information for all 241 countries & territories, achieving 100% UN member coverage. Equity in access matters, and every parent deserves the same starting point.
I also believe that trust starts with security. The app is built with a security-first approach, using encryption and best practices to keep your family's data safe.
Right now, ProbaBaby is available on iOS 26 and above. Expanding to older iOS versions and eventually launching on Android are goals I'm actively working toward. Down the road, I may introduce affordable subscription options or a tips feature to help cover the costs of keeping the app running and growing — but the core experience will always remain accessible.
